In 1984, Sue Antal, and her two children Jill, then 15, and Christopher, 12, opened their home to guests. For four Summers Chris and Jill hosted the Inn on weekdays and mom took over weekends. Today, the Innkeeper's assistant is Emma, a golden retriever who is an eager guide to the beaches and rivers. Sue's "claim to fame" are her creative breakfasts including fresh fruits, raspberry soup, fresh tomato pie, belgian waffles and potato pancakes. Sue, a Notary, also performs more that 60 weddings in the area each year, including assistance in planning the happy event. We've added a great collection of Maine videos including "Maine, America's Coast, "Acadia," "Maine Lobstering, ""Maine's Magnificent Moose," and "Lighthouses of Maine." Our own walking, jogging, and "off the beaten path" maps have been updated to include the beautiful harbor walk and the Old Gaol. |
